Earl Jones Feeding Two Wolves at the Lobo Wolf Park near Kane [Photograph]

Description

This photograph depicts the keeper Earl C. Jones feeding two wolves from a large bucket at Dr. McCleery's lobo wolf park, located along Route 6 five miles east of Kane, PA. A wolf in a neighboring pen is also visible. This photo appears to be part of a series in which Dr. McCleery and Earl Jones appear in other photos. This photograph has a yellowed newspaper strip stuck to the back.

Another photograph in this series was featured in the Kane Republican's (Kane, PA) Special "Dr. McCleery - Wolves" Edition on February 20, 1962 and identified the keeper Earl C. Jones, who was wearing the same outfit in that photo as he is in this photo.

This photograph was taken between 1929 (when Dr. McCleery moved the wolf park to the Route 6 location) and 1962 (when Dr. McCleery passed away).
