This photograph depicts Dr. McCleery (who appears to have bandages on both hands) petting a wolf at Dr. McCleery's lobo wolf park, located along Route 6 five miles east of Kane, PA (judging by the wire on the ground and the amount and style of wire on the fence). The back of the photo reads "Dr. McCleery return to J. Cliff Kane," "E 97," "Times 5 P.M.," and "No.2"

This photo was taken between 1929 (when Dr. McCleery moved the wolf park to the Route 6 location) and 1949 (when dated material shows Dr. McCleery looking much older).
