This photograph depicts Dr. McCleery kissing a wolf at Dr. McCleery's lobo wolf park, located within the town limits of Kane, PA. Another wolf is visible in the background. The Kane Historic Preservation Society's version of this postcard is a Defender divided postcard. The caption on the front of the version of the postcard that Nancy Avolese contributed reads, "McCleery's Lobo and White Arctic Wolves - Kane, Pennsylvania."
This photograph was taken between 1921 (when Dr. McCleery obtained his first wolf) and 1929 (when Dr. McCleery moved the wolf park to the Route 6 location).
