About the Kane Depot's McCleery Lobo Wolves Collection

The Kane Depot is the historical society of Kane, Pennsylvania, and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All of the records and digitized documents in this digital library are free to the public.

The Kane Depot’s McCleery lobo wolves document collection started when the Kane Republican, Kane's local newspaper, donated the materials pertaining to Dr. McCleery and his wolves that it had amassed over the years to the Kane Depot around 2005. The Kane Republican’s donation currently makes up the vast majority of the Kane Depot’s McCleery lobo wolves document collection.

About this Digital Library

This digital library, the Kane Depot’s McCleery Lobo Wolves Archive, is the online finding aid and digital database of the Kane Depot’s McCleery lobo wolves document collection. It was created in 2010 by Kirsten Canfield as part of a Digital Libraries course while she was earning her Master’s of Library and Information Science at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Kirsten continues to maintain this site.

Collection Policy

Only items in the Kane Depot’s McCleery lobo wolves document collection will be included in this site. If you wish to donate material relating to Dr. McCleery or to the history of Kane to the Kane Depot, please contact the Kane Depot. Material will be added to the McCleery Lobo Wolves Archive by the webmaster as time permits.
